Hey y’all! I’m Hannah, founder of Utopian Creations! I’m 27 years young and I love to travel. Especially for weddings! I’m originally from Camden, ME but currently live in a small town in Georgia with my husband and our two beautiful daughters who keep me very busy when I’m not busy living out my dream career! Utopian Creations was exactly that, a dream! A pure thought I had one summer and because of you all supporting us, booking us and sharing us all over social media it has become the sweetest reality! I knew as a child I wanted to become a hairstylist, and what my career has blossomed into is more than I could have ever dreamt of. I truly love being a part of your big day. Listening to your wedding playlists, laughing with you and your bridal party, even getting the family tea! it’s my favorite thing! It honestly does not even feel like a job. I love having girl time with you all! Even with all the fun extras, nothing beats getting you glammed up to walk down the aisle. It’s an honor to be part of something so special to you, and I can never say thank you enough!

My name is Madesyn Mize, I am the owner of High Voltage Hair Company located in Elberton and co-owner of Utopian! I’m 26 years old, a major Disney adult, a cat mom to Baby, a dog mom to Lola, and the funnest aunt you’ll ever meet! I’m also a wife to my sweet husband Drew who supports me in any and everything! I’ve been doing hair and makeup professionally for 7 years. I was a late 2000s kid obsessed with all of the YouTube stars doing hair and makeup! I always knew this is what I would do! I attended Carolina College of Hair Design and graduated in 2018. I’m so thankful for my time there and for it making me the stylist I am today! I’m also so thankful I met Hannah all those years ago, we are two peas in a pod, amazing coworkers and friends! I’m thankful that she let me tag along in this journey of building Utopian! We absolutely love what we do! We love meeting new people and traveling any and everywhere! If you’ve ever sat in our chairs you know how thankful we are for your business. I’m Mackenzie Penland, I’m from Elberton GA, where my husband and I are raising our son. I remember from a young age always being the “hair and makeup friend”. Doing event hair/makeup has always been a large dream of mine. Getting to know the person that sits in the chair is truly a blessing. Rather it be a wedding day, prom, pageant, or any event that’s special to you, it’s even more special to me! I truly love helping others feel beautiful and confident! After all, happiness and confidence are the most beautiful things you can wear!!

Im Lindsay, I’m 28 years old and I’m from Elberton Ga. I married my high school sweetheart in 2021 and we have two beautiful daughters. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and playing with my two dogs! Hair and Makeup have always been a passion of mine! I’ve been styling hair for events for almost 10 years. I love getting to know clients and I’m honored to be apart of helping others feel beautiful for any special occasion!!

My name is Lexi Edwards! Im 27 years old, a mother to two beautiful girls Reagan & Ryleigh, and wife to Kassen. I am the owner of L&K Designs, a Sandblasting/Monument Sales business located in Elberton, Georgia. I started learning all the ends and outs of the drafting and built our business from the ground up! Doing Hair and makeup has always been a dream of mine! It is my stress relief and time of self expression away from being a busy mom and business owner! The time spent with my bridal parties is so much fun, it’s like having a girls day with new friends! I love meeting all of the ladies and learning about what they love to do We have met some incredible people through this journey and I couldn’t be more thankful! Thank you all for giving me a creative outlet!

My name is Kelsey Major! I’m a mom to two sweet boys, Benson and Hudson! Im also a wife to my husband Bailey. I’m currently enrolled in the cosmetology program at Athens Technical College. After becoming a mom and full time monument graphic designer for L&K designs, I decided it was time to fulfill my dream of going to cosmetology school and make it a reality! I plan to focus and specialize in eyelash extensions. It is not easy being a busy mom and attending school but I absolutely love it! Joining Utopian Creations has been an amazing opportunity to further my education in this field. I love spending Saturdays glamming the girls, enhancing everyone’s natural beauty, and having the best time with bridal parties! I can’t wait to have the opportunity to style you in my chair!

Hello, I’m Brooke Russell! i’m 24, from Danielsville, GA, and this is my first year with Utopian! Madesyn has done my hair for years now and i am so grateful for her and Hannah to give me the opportunity to do more of what i love!!! i’ve always known i’ve had a passion for makeup and for making beautiful women feel confident in their selves! i was always the one people asked to do their makeup and it came easy bc i loved what i did! When i’m not in MUA mode, you’ll find me serving tables at Loco’s in Athens, snuggling in bed with my fur baby, or somewhere wishing i was in Disney World!!!
